scn - dead air voicemail

On two remote sites after a few hours when the VM should pick up it is dead air. This problem just arised, on the call status (at main site) when the VM should pick up the it flashes the call 5-7 times simantaneously on the screen as status "idle".

Any ideas on why this would happen.
 
Main site on 3.0.40 the others are on 3.1.65
 
Sounds like you have a license issue with dead air on the VM.

do you have phone manager or any thing else you see drop out when you get the vm issue?

It has been 4 hours since I restarted the 2 remote sites and the problem hasn't reoccured. I thought it may be a license issue as well but isn't that a 2 hour shutoff? I haven't tried a phone mananger at these locations.
 
I was wondering if it was intermittant. Like a bad connection or some thing along those lines.

It does seem like a license issue now. I switched the remote 406s back to a line VM and after 2 hours dead air. This only happened after I made a shortcode for remote huntgroups. Any ideas?
 
The VM pro will run unlicenced for two hours. Kind of a try and buy thing.

Does the VM stop on the site that it is housed on?

I think you need to be looking at upgrading the whole shooting match here.

No it never stops are the main site only on the remote sites now. On the licenses on the main site it shows: Valid for both Voicemail Pro (4 ports) unlimitd instances and never expire and Valid for additional Voicemail pro (ports) 4 instances with never expire. What licenses would I need to purchase?

They have now been running for 3 hours and still working, that is what is so strange to me.
 
it sounds like the licenses are ok. Maybe it is somekind of network issue. are your sites running on a VPN or private line. It could also be some kind of IP routing issue. i would start a monitor on one of them and call then call again when it stops and see what happens.
