Pardon me if I am having a senior moment...
We have 7 IPO's in a working SCN. Most are 5.0, one is 6.0, and one is 6.1 release. There are no duplicate names or extension numbers.
Being in North America we have the default short code for outgoing calls set to 9N routing calls to the ARS form 50 Main.
This morning we tried to add an 8th site (6.1) to the SCN, which worked fine for extension to extension calls. The number range at this site is 5300 - 5499 (still, no duplicates).
At a Florida site in area code 954, the Main 50 ARS form, which has secondary dial tone checked, routes 10 digit local calls 954xxxxxxx and 754xxxxxxx to one secondary ARS form (a local T1) and other calls to a different circuit. (Neither of the secondary ARS forms have the secondary dial tone enabled). All this worked fine. However when the site with the 5400 range extensions was added, no one could dial numbers starting with 954. It seems like the IPO was stripping off the short code 9 plus the first 9 of the dialed phone number. It was then left with a number starting with 54, and tried to route it over the SCN.
When the new SCN trunk was removed, all stated working normally again.
Short of changing the numbering scheme, any suggestions to get this working? Thanks.
