SCN and H.323 Remote Site Question

All,

In a three site scenario (IP Office 8.1 at the main site with SIP trunks for PSTN, each of the other two sites is without an IPO; simply PoE switches and IP phones at the 2 remotes, with private or internet (unknown at this time) between the 3 sites. All sites will use main site's SIP for PSTN. Is SCN/H.323 trunking needed, or is SCN only needed to connect multiple IP Office control units?

You will just need decent VPN tunnels between the sites , SCN is linking IPO systems together
