I have added new type 2616 acd phones to an existing acd call queue. When I attempt to add the acd agent keys to the supervisor phone I get a sch1516 error. Any ideas?
SCH1516 MCA card supports only keys 0-7.
Action: Move the key functions of the voice set in the range 0-7 if you intend to use MCA.
Severity: Minor. Critical to Monitor: No
Please post a printout of the TN. If you are trying to build the TN, at what point do you get the sch1516?
Also, do a "stat l s c" to see if any of the data ports are programed.
As a test you could try to program the agent on key 9.
If that fails, you could out one of the existing AGT appearances and then try to add your new one.
This will help determine if the problem has to do with Key 50, or perhaps a limit on AGT keys on a set.
Maybe this person is already assigned to a supervisor.
Thsi is from the NTP:
Agent lamp (Basic)
Up to 40 SL-1 telephone key/lamp pairs can be assigned to agent functions.
The M2216 telephone with two add-on modules supports up to 58 keys. The
key associated with each lamp is not used unless equipped with ACD
advanced features. The lamps show the state of individual agents in the
supervisor’s group. These lamp states are updated when the status of the agent
changes, independent of the supervisor’s mode of operation (Agent/
Supervisor/Make Set Busy). An agent can be assigned to only one supervisor
at a time.
These are some excellent ideas. I tried the uppercase because, yes I have been burned by this one even thought I usually use the lowercase with no problems. I have also tried the dummy change and here is what happened. I can change the DES or I can change keys 0 ~ 6 with no problems using the AGT. But if I try any other key it fails after the 4 keystrokes of AGT and space. aLSO THE SAME RESULTS IF i TRY TO PROGRAM AO6, TRN OR CFW......
No there aren't any keys programmed on the data side. I have changed the DTAO to MPDA on the data side, went back and programmed the agent keys on the ACD phone. Then I have went back and changed the DTAO setting back to MCA and all appears to be fine. I never remember having programming issues like this before.
I changed the DTAO MCA to DTAO DTAO MPDA on the data phone on TN 4 -0 -2 -16 and then procedeed to add the agent keys successfully on the TN 4 -0 -2 -0. I have changed the data port back to DTA0 = MCA. All appears to be working at this time. I still am not sure why this was the problem, in the past I have had no problems adding agent keys. Is it corrupt????
