Helle there, I do have a question. When programming a new analog card I only can add 4 of the 16 phones on it. When I tried todo more then a message is displayed:

'The Number of analog TN's in the system exceeds the number of analog TN's defined in the tape directory'

Can someone help me on this? How can I extend the numbers of analog TN's? We do have an Meridian 11C.

Thanks in advance.

GO TO LD 22 AND DO A SLT AT REQ, SHOULD GIVE YOU HOW MANY ANALOG PHONES YOU CAN BUILD AND THE TOTAL AMOUNT OF TN'S IN THE SYSTEM OLD ROLMEN WORKING ON NORTELS

You may have entered the wrong card density when installing the first port, verify the card number and how many ports this card should support.

I followed the instructions and did a LD 22. I saw that there were no analog ports available anymore, but is there a way to increase the number of analog phones?

Buy more licences for analogue phones.
OR
Try to give some sets CLS FAXA
(I heard the Meridian doesn't count those analogue sets but haven't tried it yet ;-)

You don't buy licences for analog phones, you buy TN's and can use them any way you want. If you need more analog ports than buy analog cards. what is the card number of your analog port card? Like I said before if you can only get 4 ports on a 16 port card it may be programmed for the wrong card denisty. Or you may be out of TN's. do a LD 10 and it should tell you how many TN's you have used and how many are left.
