SAVFE not filtering certain key words?

For some reason the spam filter only works on certain key words in my match list. Currently I have it set up so that spam is labeled with a spam tag in the subject line. It works on some words in the filter and not others. I have exchange 2000 on a w2k box. Words like free, credit, degree for some reason will not get the spam tag. Other words like bargins, application, adults only get the spam tag. All these words are on the same match list. I'm confused hehe any information would be appreciated. Thanx in advance.

check the mime coding.... you'll probably see unrecognizeable tags between the letters of your "spam" word and therefore not detected. They show on screen as ok but in the coding they're all messed up.

Can you explain were/how I can do this? I'm not for sure how to view or edit mime.
I went to Symantec\SMSMSE\4.0\Server\MatchLists\Sample Subject Line.xml and verified that those key words were there and are correct but I dont think this is the right place you are talking about. I have searched google on this and found some old mime exploits hehe could you provide a link or let me know how to do this.

Is there any way in Exchange 2000 to block files of certain Extensions. I have tried to look but cannot find it. Any help would be appreciated.

Also what new Symantec product now supports Anti-Spam filters. The users in my Org. are complaining of too much spammed emails in last couple of months. I Currently have EXchange 2000 on Win2k Adv Server and NAVME 2.x.
