hello all,
i have a rather simple, three table database with three users, running on a novell network. the only reason i mention the network is that this may be a network error rather than an access error.
at unpredictable intervals, when users save a record they get a series of three error dialogs which read; (1) "could not save. currently locked by user 'Admin' on machine X.", followed by (2) "the save operation failed.", and (3)"out of memory." BUT the database has plenty of memory (it is under 1 meg and contains less than 1000 records) and will in fact save the record.
can anyone tell me how to avoid these dialogs? both embarassing and annoying.....
thanks,
ap
