Hi all,

I've a G350/S8300c

It's the first time i'm configuring a S8300c. I've done lots of S8300A/B.

I ve the following problem.

After cm 4.0 is installed the system isn't rebooting. I can't even get on it through the service port. And alarm led keeps flashing(in the manual it's standing that the alm led is flashing when it is ready to receive the OS).

I've tried to install CM without the integrated flashcard but that ain't working at all.

The G350 has the latest firmware!!!

Other thing weird: when i launch the avaya gateway installation wizard the g350 doesn't detect S8300 in V1.

Could anyone please help me out with that issue, as the system is leaving today to sweden and the preconf should be ready before.

Thank you in advance!!!!

Hi,

Have faced the same problem when installing with CM4.0 which I cannot access the service port and unable to ping it...

How do you solved the problem ?

Thanks

I Have faced the same problem where I cannot access the service port and unable to ping it...
What i did was switch off the divice compleetly for 5 minuits and then turned it back. Please wait for some time after switching it on.you should be able to ping the service port (192.11.13.6)

web browser with craft/craft01. go to maint. server access and enable telnet and SAT

I am getting this problem now. Can someone tell me what the fix was... put s8300b server and can load CM3 software with no problems so the gateway is fine. Tried 2 different s8300c server and can load software. cant ping cant do anything....

I had this issue as well. tried all trouble shooting steps, but powering it off for a coffee break and then back on again, worked. Connected to the services port, I did a continous ping (ping 192.11.13.6 -t), waited about 10-15 rely pings then accessed the server using web. i also used ssh emulator to access the linux shell, running the statapp -c command to step through application loading.

On one, I just had to reload software from the start. I did use Procomm to capture the load sequence and recorded good load. I will continue to do so until for all others until I see what flacks out. Good luck.
