I have an app. that was written in v2.5 and is launched by a program that sets Sysmenu of, then displays its own menu. I would like to run two instances of this app. under Windows (NT), one for each of two companies, concurrently on the same PC.

Any suggestions on how to do his with the minimum of code changes? I'd like to be able to Alt-Tab between them to work in either companies app.

Unless the Programmer allowed that application to run from any directory. Also is the company information "hard-coded" or is it stored in a table that you can modify. Do you have the source code?

I have the code. Each company's data is stored in tables wiht the same names, in same directory names, but the files are actually on different networkde PCs, referenced using different drive letters.

The basic question as I see it is whether I can have Foxpro (VFP6) running two applications concurrently - it appears that I can load VFP6 twice, so is it simply a cse of running once company in one instance, and the second in the other, or will there be some conflict?

It sounds feasable. I guess providing you can have the user select the company he wants to use. Or have it default to the right compnay depending from what PC he is working from.

Are all the users mapped to all the PC'S on the network?

Once you determine what path to reference you may have to map the drive to access the data. Attitude is Everything
