RMATS Line Not Answering

Tried to dial into the Definity G3siv6 and the system will not answer. When the RMATS number is dialed it just rings no answer.

I have dial tone to the 25th pair on the Aux cable. Any suggestions as to what could be the problem and how it could be fixed.

Did you confirm the number on the 25th pair of the AUX cable?

It's a POTS line. I hooked the butt set up and was able to make and receive calls.

Assuming it's not a Prologix, you probably have a bad maintenance board. Since it will require a powerdown to replace it, you may want to try a 'reset system 1'. That should not be service affecting.

You are correct it's a old Definity G3si system. Thanks for the suggestion, I appreciate the help. I will do the system reset this weekend.
