Is there a way in SSA, or Monitor, to tell if a mailbox user has recorded their name?

Yes, but its painful if there are more than 100 files since everything (greetings, names, announcements, messages) are all in the same pile and you need to look at the details of each.

Simplest way is with Monitor, call the user and watch which wav files are played.There's a whole set of Embedded Voicemail choices on the Call trace options tab.

Stuck in a never ending cycle of file copying.
