Hello everyone out there.

I remember from education some years ago that it should be possible to define phonenumbers that are allowed to call a certain phone. Cannot find how to do that. Would love some help.
Situation:
One analog phonenumber. is used for emergency. Hotline programmed to reception, so can not call anyone.
We want not everyone to call this number, only abouth 10 users (all internal) analog, digital and generic-wireless (DECT) Phones
How can I do that.

Thank you all for helping
René

In a very simple way,

dont give that extension number to anyone, except those ten users :)

Hmmmm not what i was looking for. I really need to block others out

Hi!

If only the "10 users (all internal) analog, digital and generic-wireless (DECT) Phones" , should be able to call the analog phone, the you should make a special category "CAT" for these phones. Giving them e.g. a CAT, where the TRAF=xxxxxx07, and enabling the TCMAS accordingly, will enable only the 10 users to call the analog device.
Another solution is to give all the 10 phones + the analog one - the parameter for EMERGENCY device.
If the operator enters *90#, the MD110 will go into EMERGENCY mode. #90# will take the PBX back to normal service.
The EMERGENCY service is set the SERV.
Try it & let us know your comments.

Hi,

Option 1
Can't get it working. Giving the phones a category ending 07. They cannot call anywhere from that point. not to the analog they should be allowed to. not to eachother, and not to other extensions. The 10 phones should be able to call anywhere they want.
Option 2
I might read it wrong, but I think that when I do that those phones only can call the number when the MD110 is in Emergency mode. It has to work always. Setting the MD110 always to Emergency mode, What are the results setting the MD110 fulltime in Emergency mode. Does it effect other phonetraffic.

Doctor said it clearly,

create a new CAT
for that particular CAT, make changes in TCMAP using command TCMAS.

and give this CAT to all those 10+1 extensions

Hi,

Thanks
that's what I did. I created a new Cat (traf ending 07 as Doctor said) Give it to the phone that should receive the calls, aswell to some of the phones that are allowed to call the number (not all since I wanted to test first)
Since Analog and Generic phones are working from a different categorylist I made a new cat in both of them.

Where I go wrong is probably the TCMAS part.
All above I programmed in EMG. not in TTY. The TCMAS part I cannot find, and in TTY in need more information what to type. So explanation is welcome

René

If you go to the TTY line of your EMG:

To set the TCMAS:
TCMAS:CON=T,A=7,B=7;

Print by TCMAP;

Remove by TCMAR:A=7,B=7;

Hi,

Thanks
Okay, I tried this and that works out for a part. The phones I put in the new categorie can call eachother. Other Phones are blocked out. So far so good.
However the 10 phones should be able to call any extension they want. Is that possible? And when yes how is that done

René

For total solution you need 3 groups.
1st Emergency Telephones.
2nd The Phones which are able to call emergency telephones.
3rd others.

So you need 3 places in the matrix which are from 1 to 14.
As far as you set 7 for 2nd group. Now for 1st group(emergency phones) set 6 with proper commands. And lately check the others, I will assume their place as 1 on the traffic matrix (You can check with EXCAP or KSCAP).Than design your traffic matrix.
TCMAS:CON=T,A=7,B=1&6&7;
TCMAS:CON=T,A=6,B=1&6&7;
TCMAS:CON=T,A=1,B=1&7;
Your matrix shall look like:
1....6 7
1 1....0 1
. ...........
. ...........
6 1....1 1
7 1....1 1

Last of all check your conference matrix. TCMAP:CON=C;
Set the values TCMAS:CON=C,A=x,B=x; if you want these groups to conference each other.

I can see that this iisue is in good hands, so good luck.
& let us know if problems should occur.

Tested it and it works great. Allready implemented it to all the phones needed it for. Also learned a lot of the system with the matrix, I allready had forgotten since educations.
Thanks From Holland, thanks from the Zoo-Emmen
