We have coverage groups assigned for pickup and call coverage. On some executive phones we have a private line number assigned. This shows as it's own CA button on the stations.

Is there a way to ensure that this line is not available for a group pickup, or does not follow the coverage of the phones (usually they ring out to attd after 3 rings).

Are you giving the executives a second number by creating an 'x' ported station and giving them bridged appearances? If so, the x-ported station should have it's own coverage path.

Kevin,

It does... sends it only to "99" (Audix) but the call pickup still seems to work. It does (if not picked up, or followed) wind up in the voice mail for the private number. It's the pickup I'd like to restrict. In some areas--- the receptionist can hear the phone ring, and just hits the group pickup button.

Private lines are DID extensions, (X)ported and assigned as a bridged extension to the users primary set. Their coverage path is set only to AUDIX (99).
