To restore a specific file from the media, perform the following steps:
1. Open Backup Exec application and go to the "Restore Selections" tab.
Note: If you are unable to see the restore options for the particular date,
then perform inventory and catalog on the media that contains the backup
set.
2. Drill down to the specific file from the restore media set and select
the data that needs to be restored.
3. Run the restore job and observe the results.
If the issue still persists, then kindly revert back with the following
information:
1. Screen shot showing the restore selections for the date 7/23
in "Restore Selections" tab in .jpg format
2. Event logs (application and system event log in .evt format)
3. BEDIAG.FAX file run on Backup Exec Media Server

4. SGMON Log
How to create SGMON.LOG please refer the following technote
Note: Start sgmon before starting the Backup Exec/backup/restore
operation.
5.System Information file (for Windows 2000)
Select My Computer---> Right Click ---> Manage ---> Select System
Information ---> Save As (.txt and .nfo)
Or,
5. Microsoft Diagnostic File (for Windows NT)
Run Winmsd.exe ---> File ---> Save ---> msdrpt.txt
