I have read the few posts there are on this subject and nothing seems to work. When BlueTooth got kicked off the client's premises, they left the routers with no passwords. I am unable to telnet without knowing the password. I tried NavisConnect but each time I go to save the config file, the file is never saved and these small dialogue boxes with "WORKING" on them pop up, but nothing happens.
The SNMP password changed and I cannot do anything with these 3 DSLPipes. I popped off the cover and I see three jumpers. I tried jumpering all three, the first two, the last two...nothing happens. No matter what I do I cannot reset these things.
When I use Hyperterm or any other derivative, all I get is the main edit window, but I cannot move the cursor ">", with the arrow keys, Ctrl-N, nothing works. The only window that is highlighted is the main edit (configuration) window.
I went to Lucent's support site for instructions on this NINDY thing and bupkus comes up. NO one has anything on the actual procedure for performing NINDY.
Whatever happened to that good 'ol reset switch or the <1mm button-hole you have to stick a jeweler's screwdriver through?????
Can anyone help? I'm sittin' on about $1,500 worth of DSLPipes that are worthless at the moment. They were donated to the school for routing labs and I cannot use them!!
I'll try almost anything with these puppies, but I don't have a clue. I've got all the package materials, serial numbers, etc. All I need is to find out how to reset these things so that I can use them with the students.
Anyone???? Anything????
