How do I reset a deleted Norstar Mailbox ?

Not sure what you mean but if it has been deleted then you need to rebuild a new one.

When I try to reach ext. 248 the LCD reads >Not In Service< and sounds a busy tone........

Is extension 248 your voice mail? If so then try to put a phone on the port to make sure it is not bad. If the phone works then put the voice mail back on it. You may need to power the voice mail down and back on agin.

how do you power the voice mail down and then back on again? doing this won't reset the voice mail will it?

Just unplug it then plug it back in after a minute or so. It should not affect anything in the voice mail as long as the mail has no problems.

Once the mailbox is deleted, that is the end of the story. Must re-create mailbox..

How do I check my voice mail on a call pilot 150 from home,
system is a Norstar-Plus ICS, or can I ? Thanks

mail box deleted is gone.
If u are gettign not in service , it means u dont have a phone on the ext u are trying u call.
If it was a virtual extension then re create the mailbox and u will be fine. A new mail box will have 0000 as the starting password.
