Have a customer that we just shipped a couple of 9621g for their remote workers. When one of the users got their phone they proceeded to plug it in, and entered the wrong extension number. Trying to get it reset to factory settings but nothing doing. Every time if comes up but does not ask for extension number and login code. something missing in manager? Thanks

Without telling us what they are doing to reset it we wouldn't know. Are they going into the Admin menus and selecting Administration | Reset to Defaults.

Stuck in a never ending cycle of file copying.

if you default it then there are no settings left in the phone
call server, file server need to be put back in, otherwise it will not connect.

If you enter the wrong number then go into the CRAFT menu and go to the LOGOUT option instead of going nuclear on the phone then it will ask you again for the extension and password. :)

Logout! That's what I was looking for. Did not know that that would cause it to forget extension. Thanks

Well that didn't work, the phone just ask to verify that you want to logout and you press the logout button again and it just keeps bring back the same screen, " are you sure you want to logout". Any suggestions

Try the 'CLEAR' option, this cleares all values and resets it to factory. If it's still not allowing you to log in then the phone firmware might be cooked.
