We have an 81C succ 3.0 Superloop 24 is out. It runs a remote shelf.

What are the commands to disable both and reset the controller card in the PBX? Do I need to reset the card in the remote shelp too?

I get the following message:
XMI000 24 : RSIG link lost on Port #0 - Reinitialized

Thanks.

Well, we changed both cards local and remote, no change what so ever. T1 checks okay?

Afer changing cards and doing:
Ld 32
enll 24
enxp 08
I went to LD 20 and tried to enable a card in loop 24 and it said the xpec was disabled still:

XMI000 24 : RSIG link lost on Port #0 - Reinitialized
REQ: enlc 24 0 1
XPEC DSBL

jtphoneman...in ld 32 use enxp xpc 8 then ld 20 enable
the cards

When I try and enable the xpec 08 in 32:

NPR0327
No response from the Network Card. Retry the command several times.
Action: "If the problem persists, check the Network Card and associated
cabling."
Severity: Minor

I cant enable the cards in 20 because the xpec willnot enable. WE had some bad weather this past weekend...

jtphoneman...i had the same issue i went to

strmwalker,
unfortunelty when I do the enxp and xpc I get the same NPR0327
It never tells me my controller comes back.

Check network cables from back of IPE module to NET card in Common Eqipment shelf.

jtphoneman...has anyone been to the remote site and
power down the remote and bring it backup you say the
t1 is up are you sure?

Yes, techs at remote shelf have powered down the shelf and even swaped out the carrier card. The local Telco has vefiyed the T1 is good, as far as the cables there is a cable on the front of the carrier card that goes into the card cage, I am not sure where it comes out on the backplane, I have been able to find where the T1 cable plugs into the backplane and can check it, is there another cable I could chaeck?

jtphoneman...the issue i told you that happen to me
local telco said t1 checked out ok but i was not up
they had to have a guy come out and reset the card
in their westel unit on the wall when they say its up are
they talking about from the central office or did they
send someone to your sites to check?

no problems only solutions

jtphoneman..thats what they told me too, until they came
out to reset the card i could not up my controller.

are you sure it's xpe 8? when you go to 97 and prt xpe's, it will show the downed xpe..

enxp x, should give you an sdl100, remote request for download. enll 24 should give you xpe 0 connected.. if not your still down on layer one.. do you have csu's on both ends?

This is a VERY, VERY likely a T1 issue.

one at a time,
1. take the T1 cable out of the back of the remote equipment and put a loopback on it and wait a minute.
2. look at the light on the local side and see if it goes green

if yes then the T1 is good
if no call your provider back

Do this with all three T1's
However, note you only need 1 to be up for the equipment to sync.
