RESERVE_LAST_CA and Call Pickup

After installing an IP Office running 3.0.69 with a couple of 5410 extentions I discovered I cannot use *30 for picking up a call ringing on an other extention. Also other call pickup features like *31 won't work. The other extention is still ringing and I hear a dialtone.

After removing the RESERVE_LAST_CA= line at one extention that extention was be able to pickup other extentions.

If I program a button on a 5402/5410 for PickupOwnGroup (at least thats what it is called in English) am I be able to pickup the call but only when I press the button with the receiver onhook. If I lift the receiver first and press the pickup-button I only get a dialtone.

If you want a person to give busy tone at the second call then remove al CA. Then al works

Else give him more then two CA if you use RESERVE_LAST_CA=

And how do you take a call back after a failed transfer without CA ?
 
Use the hold button, only works if your station is without CA.

The problem is that most of our users are using a headset and you need CA-buttons to accept the call. We cannot use Phone Manager because it gives multiple fatal errors within the hour on our Citrix/PowerFuse servers. We installed the last version last week but it only got worse.

Then you must explain that they must leave the reciever on hook before they do pickup like you noticed.
I hope they will do something about it next release.
Its also important to tell you dealer so avaya get informed of the problem.
Else nothing will happen in next release,s.
