Hello,

I want to add a PN-8IPLA w/ PZ-24IPLA to an old NEAX2000IPS system that don't have the License for it

Can anyone help since NEC is not giving them anymore ?

I think your best chance of getting a CPU license is to try to purchase a CPU that has all of the licensing already there. At the very lease you will wind up with a spare CPU.

can you please guide me to a place selling them ? or how to make sure that a CPU has such licenses ?

as long as I remember PN-8IPLA itself doesn`t require any license.
Wrong?

I am pretty sure it does not need any licensing, however it should have a minimum of r3300 software. CPU software version can be found in MaTWorX after log in , or in CMD F85>FF02,03,04,05

i confirm that the software version is newer than r3300

F85>FF02:3713
F85>FF03:p1
F85>FF04:0004
F85>FF05:00
F85>FF06:00
F85>FF07:2008
F85>FF08:08
F85>FF09:05
F85>FF10:FF
F85>FF11:FF
F85>FF12:0332
F85>FF13:00
F85>FF14:332.1--

so how can i configure it if it doesn't need a license

Can you please check this thread with all the info i have

When we recently switched everything to NEC VOIP we Ewasted 50 some IPS2000 systems most with CP24's maxed for stations and CCIS lic. We checked with several vendors asking if they wanted the cards for free just pay shipping and they all declined.

@flhr95

are any of those still available ?

There are members here who can cut licenses independently but the issue is getting their attention!
