I have a report with 4 subforms for 4 categories. I have category totals in the subform footer. My problem is that I can't get a grand total for all the category totals. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated as my sanity is at stake. I'm thinking that maybe I'm trying to to the impossible. Maybe I need to go back and create the report as a "form" rather than a "report."

What's wrong with
=Nz(Total1,0)+Nz(Total2,0)+Nz(Total3,0)+Nz(Total4,0)
The Nz function substitutes 0 if a value is null, which gets around that problem. It shouldn't be necessary to rewrite it as a form, then edit it to imitate a report.
