HAve to replace an MICS KSU w/6.0, Flash VM, 2 port exp cart, 1 FTM, and 1 ASM. Would I be able to simply power down, disconnect the "old" KSU and take the software sleeve and card from the old ksu and put in in the new ksu without losing progamming?
Thanks
Tom

You should have no problem. I would do a backup first... just in case.

A sleeve moved to a new cabinet will default the info on the card. At least that's what I have seen happen.

I had the same problem. Ksu went, replaced the core and had to reprogram.
Software was 6.0.

you WILL lose keycodes if you have any ...besides losing the progrmming as rhowlett, galfaro, test2222 said

system programmation is in the KSU, not in the software card.... that's why the way to do it is using a RAD and your notebook. It will take you 10-15 minutes to backup and save lots of time/fun reprogramming everything.

I only wished we could do it when upgrading from cics to mics.
