Does anyone know to stop Win2k Pro from preparing network connections at startup? Its a standalone and not on network. I know it has something to do with services but i dont know which one to disable and dont want to disable something i might need. It used to not do that before. thx

If you have a dail in connection or a modem connection to the internet, windows has to setup network connections.
But you can shutdown the workstation service. This is the one who provides the network connections.
P.S. Why are you using win2k when you're not on a network?
