Hello,
We're pretty addicted to Remote Desktop here. It works great, several of us frequently log in from home to work. However, we have a new program that relies on DirectX to draw video -- some security camera software. I know, RDP and DirectX don't mix, but I'm not looking for 30fps video. I just want to be able to see a frame or two a second!
Is there any program that can force DirectX to revert to some basic software renderer or something similar?
Fortunately, VNC happens to work with the camera software. Unfortunately, VNC is not nearly as full featured as RDP. Plus trying to use the two together makes things complex pretty quick.
Thanks,
LC
