I currently have 2 S8700 systems one with an Intuity and one with Mod MEssaging. I am at the location that has the audix and would like to try out some of the mod messaging features. I have set up remote coverage on my extension to call the hunt group number for vm at the other location. This seems to work but when I cover I get the default greeting to enter the mailbox number of the person I am calling any ideas what I might be missing?

I assume that the one S8700 with the Modular Messaging system is working correctly for extensions on that switch that cover to it. The Avaya support site has some information in the configuration notes towards the end for multiple switchs and DCS. I also had a similar problem that is described here thread690-1055250. Maybe this will help.

that is correct on system is working great but I am having trouble with the second system I will look through the documentation again and see if I can find some more info thank you for the post.

What kind of integration are you using on the MMA system and when a call covers to the MMA from the other S8700 what does it show in the logs as far as the integration message it is receiving ?

Also what config note did you use for the MMA system ?
