Remote Access to Element Manager

I've had the onsite administrator open port 5989 to the public IP and it is associated with the LAN Private IP. I'm receiving the error and BCMDectector cannot identify the device type. Need help?

It always works if you forward the tcp port 5989 to the BCM IP address. Your network guy either configured wrong or the firewall did not allow the traffic through the 5989.
