Remember - Daylight Savings Time Change 4

_DST is changing this year.

Starts 11-Mar-07 and
Ends 4-Nov-2007.

You'll have to use LD02 to make the changes. Now is a good time to do it before you forget.

I completely dismissed the phone switch for the time changes...I just chalked it up to something that I would have to manually do from now on. I didn't even think to look into LD 02 and see if there was something that could be done.

Now if my Opt 11c's could sync with my time server, life would be swell!

I remember reading that the time must already be in DST to set the switch for automatic changing - to me, that means I can't make the above changes until we are actually in daylight savings time. This doesn't make sense to me so I figure I am misreading or misinterpreting.

Can anyone elaborate? (OR did I hallucinate the whole thing?)

When and if DST reverts back to what it currently is, what's the correct command to reset?

It's the same command as Boberator listed above - but you change the numbers to reflect the actual month, ordinal, day and am/pm
Months are 1 - 12 = Jan - Dec
Ordinals are the positions of an item in a list (In the above example FWTM 3 2 1 2, the first 2 indicates 2nd, and 1 is sunday so second sunday)
days are 1 - 7 starting with Sunday
and the last 2 is for AM (1 for PM but we never change clocks during pm hours)

I successfully made the change in all but one of my Option 11 C switches. I was able to change the BWTM, but not the FWTM for some odd reason. Any suggestions? Here's the printout:

you get the error because you transposed the command. its FWTM not FTWM.

I had to look at your print out a few times to see it.

DST begins on Sunday, March 11th not on Friday the 2nd.
And it ends on Sunday, November 4th not Friday, November 2nd

To implement these commands, use the following.
• FWTM <month> <week> <day> <hour>
month = 1-(4)-12 [January-December]
week = (1)-5, L [1st-5th, L is the last week of the month]
day = (1)-7 [Sunday-Saturday]
hour = 1-(2)-22 [Midnight-11:00 pm]
• BWTM <month> <week> <day> <hour>
month = 1-(10)-12 [January-December]
week = (1)-5, L [1st-5th, L is the last week of the month]
day = (1)-7 [Sunday-Saturday]
hour = 1-(2)-22 [Midnight-11:00 pm]
• SDST ON, (OFF)
ON enables the automatic change capability
OFF disables the automatic change capability
• TDST <CR>
The output reflects the input format to indicate the change information.
