Hey guys,

I have been given a KX-NT533 phone and tasked with adding it to our KX-TDE200, however I'm having trouble getting it to work. I always have the error message 'Unregistered to server'. We have several ip phones connected working fine on the card.

Before hitting IP-Registration and selecting the desired extension in unified console and having the phone booted up with either a DHCP or static address will get the same message. I can ping the phone.

When I try to go into the IP port settings it asks for a password. I don't know what this is and cannot find what the default is. Eventually the phone says unregistered to server even when I have rebooted it a few times and the unified console says no response from IP card.

How do I register this phone?

what software level is the tde running on, do you have any other NT533 or NT5xx series phone on the system already.

Is it a ipextension card in real slots or on the dsp card.
do you have enough licences if on the DSP card

Thanks for the reply. This will be the first NT5xx phone on the system, the other IP phones are DT3xx's.

We have a physical IPCMPR card installed.

We also have some portable stations setup and use KX-TCA355 phones in remote locations which work ok. There are 12 phones registered with another 4 portable handsets.

Here is the activation page:

What software level are you running on the system. It dss to be v8 for nt or dt 500 series phones

Sorry - it's V5.0002. I don't know how to update it so I will have to contact someone else as our previous dealer has gone out of business.

Thanks for your help.

If our are in the USA you will need a approve installer as the system will have to be re registered once updated
