Hello
We have our reception phone (mailbox 100)on auto attendant. When a caller presses zero it goes to ext 221 (mailbox 100)and rings about 5 times before it goes to vmail. The reception isnt really assigned its just moved from one desk to another to whomever has the time to answer both this phone and their own.
Is there anyway some other ext can be notifed that mailbox 100 (GENERAL MAILBOX) has a message? Presently we have to do a feature 981 and see if we have a message. Problem being if no one checks messages can go unanswered.
For example--if a message is dropped into the general mailbox could an indicator such as to call another ext or activate the intercom ??
