Sorry this is a lazy thread, we have a Quad BRI setup as an S Bus. We had problems initially when setting this ups where the ISDN device wouldn't sync on ports one and two but three and four were fine.

I managed to dig out a maintenance command to restart or reboot the BRI port or card by it's PLID, asn ports one and two came back into service. Knowing this would be useful in the future I wrote the command down and then lost it. Can anyone help me.

My experience is that BRI on a 3300 can be unreliable.

I have swapped 2 x MXe II controllers due to faulty module slots, and have had umpteen faults where the card/port gets locked out which gives no layer 1.

If you want to unlock some ports then you will need to load the card issue this command from the maintenance forms:

LOAD <plid of the BRI>

I have had an occurrence where only a 3300 reboot would suffice.

Thanks, I had a look at that command but when it mentioned loading from TFTP, it put me off as being wrong.

BRI being used as a trunk is fine, BRI as an S-Bus is a little flakey in my experience.

The unit has been rebooted, but I will try the load again. I've just got to work out the PLID.
