I have a form based on a table that used for data entry. One of the fields in the table is set as a required element. On the form, i have a button with which i can clear the current contents of the form (in case they mees up). however it does not like the required element and gives me an error stating i can;t assign a null value since it a required field.

i know it's somethign silly but would appreciate any ideas on how i can cope with this.

thanks in advance!!!

Instead of clearing the record, why can't you delete the record and start over?
