I am trying to troubleshoot problems on an Ip Office 8.1(56) using system Monitor. I set up monitor to create and save a file every hour. When viewing the right file, how do I know what time the events occurred? I see the time posted in (ms) at the start of each line, but have no reference point.

you can see the time in the extension packets
970585630mS CMExtnTx: v=266, p1=1
CMShortCode
Line: type=DigitalExtn 2 Call: lid=0 id=1 in=0
ShortCode GetSystemInfo (99) = [1.1 (9000)] Calling[Normex-new] Type=Default (100)

A simple mind delivers great solutions

Look in the Trace Options tab System. There are options to have system monitor add a day/time/connected system record into the trace once a minute. Alternatively you can select the Prefix YYYY-MM-DD option to add the date and time to every record.

Stuck in a never ending cycle of file copying.

The problem with inserting the time stamp with each line is that sysmondb will not read them.
That surprised me and I was a bit disappointed.
I suppose that there is a version out there that will.

Contact your secret sysmondb provider :)

BAZINGA!

I'm not insane, my mother had me tested!

What is the newest sysmondb? I have 3.5, but no secret santa.

Secret Santa told me that there is no newer version of sysmondb.

Ha ha ha, tell him that it snowed (it is spring time over here) in Italy so it is time for presents i guess.

BTW tlpeter I sent an email to you last week saying that my audio project is delayed but moving forward. I haven't heard back from you so I figured it may have been one of your e-addresses not used often.

I have seen it but i rarely look in my company mail last two weeks.
I am too busy at the moment for that.
Sorry that i did not respond yet :)
