Hi,

I was doing a R9 to R11.0 application server upgrade in 2 steps. After the 1st step from 9.0 to 10.1 it now isn't allowing me to log on using the Administrator credentials I used to log in to upgrade it. I'm getting the message "Login failed. Incorrect user name or password. System currently running in local authentication mode."

Any ideas why this might have happened and how I could get around it? Unfortunately I don't know the root password as it was installed by a previous engineer we don't have contact with. If I try to log in using BitVise SSH Client it also fails.

TIA.

Thanks for your reply. It's the Administrator account that's not allowing me to log in unfortunately - both using the previous password from before it was upgraded or Administrator.

When I try to log into the One X as Administrator it also doesn't let me log in. Although the One X is working OK for the users and the Voicemail Pro is up and running OK.

No unfortunately not it won't let me log in using SSH, that also fails on the username/password

7071 gets the same issue. I'm thinking probably a total reinstall is probably on the cards 😩

I plugged a monitor into the server and logged in using Administrator / Administrator and manually restarted the csipo service through the commands. Then I was able to login on 7070 and choose new passwords so looks like problem solved [thumbsup2]
