R9 Different ringers for incoming internal and external, etc.

I read on the GRIP request that they release a feature that would let us configure the type of ring on a phone/device (door phone, digital phones) for separate occasions.. I also read that it should do that for any DDI incoming but from what I see on the R9, it is still not in there unless I am blind... Anyone know if this is true/enabled? If yes, how?! Thanks!

If ring tones have been configured in the System | Telephony | Ring Tones tab, they are available in this list. Setting a ring tone override applies a unique ring tone for the incoming call route.

oh! so they finally fixed that section then?! You see, I overlooked it because it never worked.. haha! I thought they would have added another tab or something to the Incoming Call Route section or to the User itself.. oh well. I shall try it out. Thanks!

No, it's new settings that have been added for R9. The section you are talking about does work and has always worked but only applies to analogue phones (this is detailed in the docs/help files)
