IPO on Linux (IPOL) will be part of 8.1 capacity is still being worked out but expect 1000 or more users. Also licensing is still being worked out as now it is based on MAC address which obviously is a bad idea as you can spoof a MAC address and bypass their licensing.
A flavor or that IPOA will be free to use as a demonstration tool for sales and will run on Windows in an executable virtual machine with IPO, VMP, 1XP and Mobility licensed for a few users. Eliminates the need to drag a box around to do demonstrations.

Hi Kyle, i have heard about the ipo demo on linux
I can't wait for the IPO on linux.
It seems to be a product that can be used for the mid market that now are slightly to big for IPO and not big enough for CM.
I believe CM is still to expensive for under a 1000 users.
Just a new option.
It won't replace the current IP500v2.
Open manager and create an offline config.
Then you can select linux or internal A.
Then you will have an offline config for IPOL.
