We just upgraded to CM5.2 from CM3.1.4. In our system we had created under "abbreviated-dialing system" an entry so that when voicemail users went to voicemail they would only have to enter their password: "[server-extension]~p#" so in our system it looked like this: "8801~p#"

Now when users access this shortcut, they hear the tones and then audix picks up and asks them to enter their extension, as if it never received the digits.

Does anyone know the way to correctly set this up in CM5.2?

Thanks in advance!

Hi,

do you have a soluion for your Problem?
We have exactly the same issue and open a Ticket at Avaya

Kind Regards
Alex

We have not found a solution. We are also going to open a ticket with Avaya for this. Hopefully one of us will get it resolved and can post the fix.

Thanks,
Dennis

We open a Ticket at Avaya. Case ID 15550916.
We made a MST Trace on it and it's now in Backbone for deeper analysis.

Alex

We too have the same issue. We have Avaya case ID 15548791 open. We did an MST trace and our issue has been esculated to Tier 4.

Tier 3 was not able to reproduce the issue with CM 5.2 patch 17250; they were able to recreate it with patch levels 17434 and 17536.

We don't want to go back on the patch levels as there are other issues that have been fixed there.

Just got confirmation from Tier 4 that there is a problem with the patch level that we are at (#17536). Will be working to have an updated patch created.
