Is the "d" used after scr entries automatically available or is it a function that must be turned on or related to a function that must be turn on in Ld 17. For the life f several techs we cant find anything in documentation. This function has always been available in my memory as a default.

I believe you would enter the "D" in on a set with multiple CLID entries/Hunts as the one to be used.

KEY xx aaa yyyy (cccc
or D)

D = the character “D”. When the character “D” is entered,
the system searches the DN keys from key 0 and up, to find
a DN key with CLID table entry. The CLID associated with
the found DN key will then be used.

That was taken from the Feature - Automatic Pre-selection of Prime Directory Number. Just FYI.

Big Thanks, will look in that feature section. It is not working so either something is not turned on or we have a patch issue (go figure <grin>). We have searched everyewhere trying to find information about this function and we begining to doubt out sanity.

Say you have
KEY 0 SCR 1234 1 1 being the CLID Table Number
KEY 1 SCR 4567 D D would send out the same number a Key 0

I was wondering about that Ace, but why wouldn't key 1 just be programmed with table 1??? If it doesn't hunt/roll to it, is it using a diff entry?

Using "d" is useful when line 1 is non DID, we use 6 digit rollovers which some telcos will block because of the extra digits.

Usually Key 0 is a DID and Key 1 is a non-did, so if you put a 1 after the DN on Key 1 it would send out the
NPA-NNX xxxx of key 1 which is not a DID number in your switch, but maybe a DID in someone else's switch. I made that mistake once when we added a new NXX DID range, I put the 0 after key 0 and D after key 1. CLID should wrong DID NXX.

Got it thanks, I make default clid 0 always company number & DID entry 1, so when adding roll-ups, jus let it populate 0 and never pay it any mind.

My CLID is the NPA NXX with DID YES, so my KEY 0 is a DID and KEY 1 is a NON_DID with a D after it so if I use KEY 1 to make a call it send the CLID of KEY 0 and not KEY 1.

Some phones I setup without a DID KEY and I use CLID table 2 which sends the MAIN Company phone number so the person receiving only sees the Main number.
