I have 2 questions .
1) What is the best way to program a M3903 set with 2 lines ,
I would like :
Key 0 hunting to key 1 if busy & to VM mail if both key busy
key 0 & 1: going to VM if no answer

I think I would need :
LHK 01
FDN VM
FNA
HUNT VM
HTA

2) Now when the staff is using key 1 to make an out call
( internal or external) I would like the number to appear same
as key 0 .... ( so people would call back my key 0 number)
and we would not have to add the key 1 into the voice mail

Can it be done , it seems simple but I can't find a way to do just that !

Question 1 is correct, just make sure you have HTA and FNA in the CLS.
Question 2 is simple just make sure there is a D after the extension on Key 1, the D will send the same CLID as you have set on Key 0

ripo,
You are correct with the answers for question 1. LHK will hunt a call to key 1 when key 0 is busy. In the CLS of the phone add FNA and HTA as well as the pilot number for VM in FDN and HUNT

For question 2 ,add a D after the DN on key 1. I pasted the information from the NTPs.

key xx SCR yyyy (cccc or D) zz..z basic-20
Single Call Ringing key
Where:
• yyyy = DN
• cccc = CLID table entry of (0)-N, where N =
the value entered at the SIZE prompt in LD 15
minus 1.
• D = the character "D". When the character
"D" is entered, the system searches the DN
keys from key 0 and up, to find a DN key with
CLID table entry. The CLID associated with the
found DN key is used.
• zz..z = additional information required for the
key aaa.

Hello Perry,
I did try to add a D on key 1 of my test set , but when I tested it it is still the DN on key 1 that appears (and not the DN of k:0).
I need that feature for internal calls , does it matter ?
I work in an hospital our caller ID is blocked for outside calls.
Thanks
Rita

If caller id is blocked how is the called party going to see anything?

The caller ID is blocked when we are calling outside , but
it is open for all internal calls

If you want key 0 and key 1 to send out the same DN number just make them the same DN to begin with.

key 0 scr 1234
key 1 scr 1234

"If I can't fix it, it's not broke!

Make the 2 keys MCR keys
Key 0 mcr 1234
Key 1 mcr 1234

This way you will be able to use the second line when the first is busy but still get the same caller id.
