Does anybody here have experience with the Process Control function of Gentran:Server for Windows NT?
I'm investigating ways of how I might be able to extract useful data out of the sytem without having to query the SQL tables. I've created a new session/event in Process Control (GDW_Document_Rpt), but even the parameters I've chosen to issue me a daily report doesn't offer much. Instead of a list of transactions the system passes, I'd much rather have a daily summary (total 810's, 850's, by trading partner, etc.). Are any of you aware of Gentran being capable of producing something like this or will I have to resort to another reporting method (Crystal Reports maybe?)
Thanks
