Hi!
I am still having a problem with this which is so basic. I know I did this all the time 'many years ago' (not on pageframes but the same idea)

I have a pageframs with each page displaying a different table. Page1 displays table1 the controling table. Page2 displays table 2. Both tables are indexed on custid a numeric field which is the primary key for table1. Table2 has many references to custid.

When I move through page1, page2 follows fine showing the first reference to the custid on page1. OK

When I click on the tab for page2 I need to be able to move through the records with the same custid in partid order. This seems to be the problem I am not handling. There are many records matching the custid and I need them in partid order.

Any help much appreciated.

Judi
Will someone please turn a light on.[smile]

Check SET KEY command in HELP, I usualy use CursorAdapters (or Local Views when I was in VFP6) for this

Mike,Borislav,

Thanks for the prompt response.

Code:
SET RELATION TO PADL(TRANSFORM(custid),10,'0') INTO TABLE2
Mike, this is what I was trying to do but could not relate the numeric index to the concatenation of the custid and partid.
Just could not seem to get it right.

Thanks, problem solved.

Mike!

You surely do. I thought I had given you one. I guess I just didn't follow through on the last click properly. I certainly appreciate the help.

Have a 'star' and please forgive. [upsidedown]

Mike,

Something went wrong this time as well but I tried again and it worked, so OK. Maybe my computer needs a tuneup!
