Problem with Node 1

I have never seen these types of messages before on the switch but for action it says to Restart it. Before I call my telcom repair guy to have him come out and look at it, what exactly are these errors relating to? We’ve never had any problems with Node 1 before that I can remember and don’t recall seeing VSS before, what is the VSS? everything appears to be working fine and I havent gotten any more errors relating to it since then. I'd hate to pay $150-200 for repair to come out here if it fixed itself.

THESE ERRORS ARE MERIDIAN MAIL ERROR CODES, GO INTO MAIL AND CHECK YOUR STATUS AND SEE IF ANY CHANNELS ARE DISABLED

thanks for the help Perry, i checeked the status and everything seems to be up and running. I'm going to assume that the service just restarted itself somhow.

dta 100 means your corresponding port on your processor card disabled during it's audit.
dta 101 means it restarted the port after dumping whatever caused it to disable.

DTA codes are in your input/output guides
* 2711, * 2717, and * 2403 are in you seer books for Meridian Mail.

It happens sometimes when one of your ports get caught in the middle of an audit.
VSS stands for Voice Service Shell. Check out your Maint. Messages Reference Guide (SEER Book) under Class 27.
