i am trying to use the lstchkbox class as described in chapter 5 in the book 1001 things you wanted to know about vfp however, the sample in chapter 5 does not change to a checked box when run, does anyone know if something needs to be changed/corrected to work properly?

Short of going out and being the book to help you with your problem, or you giving us a little information as to what the problem is, let us hope that one of the authors of the book (MarciaAkins) sees your post.

Hello Teresa.

>> however, the sample in chapter 5 does not change to a checked box when run <<

I just ran the sample form and the boxes were checked when I clicked on them.

There is nothing special that you need to do to run the form. You just unzip all the CH05.zip into its own folder and DO the form.

Have you made any modifications to either the form or the class?

Teresa,

Another source to check for any of the Hentzenwerke books is the errata page for the specific book. The authors take pride in their work, but are not afraid to admit when a mistake or better way is available.

There is some errata posted for this example, which is why I bring this up.

In the interests of making it easier to see the errata that Rick mentions, here is the direct link:
