Hi, hopefully you can help with this problem.

There are a bunch of new pc's in a department here that I need to install an Access application on that was previously installed on the older pc's. The new pc's have Windows 2000 professional operating system. When I try to install the Access application I get this error:
"The office system pack can not be installed on this system because it requires windows NT 4.0 service pack 6 or later".

I have never seen this message before, and I have installed this application on many different types of pc's.

Can any one help? They need this application badly.
Thanks

Thanks for the reply,

I did try the suggested fix for the Windows 2003 server problem, but that did not work for me.

I am in the process of finding out what the service pack level is, I believe I heard the pc guy here, say it was current but I will check.

Thanks

Hi

Are you trying to install Office 2003?

If yes, I have had same experience, proble is Windows 2K not at correct service pack level
