Hi All,
Does anyone know a way to prioritise startup processes in XP??
Basically i want a process to load first before anything else does. Also if this process fails is there a timeout option to stop the machine hanging.
Im not sure if this is even possible but any assistance would be much appreciated

Thanks,
Unfotunatley I am restricted from using external products which are not part of our global loadset!!
It would be fine if this was one machine but it is going to be added to our images.
Cheers

I do not believe windows xp can natively prioritize startup options.. just as groups..

obviously Drivers and Services load first, then programs.
