Hi All

IPO R10.2.0.2

When there is a primary and a secondary server edition and a 500v2 expansion do you need to add the expansion to both primary and secondary server or just the primary?

You can do this from the primary and it will show up in the network.

Hi tlpeter

So only from the primary?

will that replicate the scn on the secondary? Not sure what you mean by "show up on the network

All the systems added to the primary (like the secondary) are in a SCN network.
So yes it will show up.

It shows up as part of the overall solution.
Manage it from the Primary.

Hi All

Maybe i should ask this question instead.

Situation as above with the Secondary providing resiliency to the primary. In the same way that ip phones on the primary are backed up (replicated) on the secondary, would the SCN to the expansion on the primary be replicated automatically to the secondary?

If that level of resiliency is configured. It's not on/
off. there are many options.

There is a 'Resiliency for IP Office' Manual which details what can be done and what is expected behaviour in and after a failover event. It's a great sourc3 of info.
