HELP:

I am having a problem with a NEC system (i am not a specialist but i need some information )
The ISDN-30 trunk works allright but every saturday at 12.00 pm the trunk-lines are running fully occupied ad this stays untill we give the PABX a reset on mondaymorning.

Anyone with tips????

-does it make a backup???

What type of phone system the IPS does not perform anykind of Maint routine that would affect ypur ISDN.

The ISDN uses Channel for Data called the D-channel and a channel for alarm or info from the provider. The provider may be doing some kind of routine that is locking that channel up and keep all traffic from flowing.

There are no call made and there are no problems whatsoever on the provider-side.

Example:

The office closes at friday 18:00 hrs., no calls are made on saturday or sunday but every saturday at approx. 24:00 hrs. It risrs from zero to the max value of 30 erlang in 2 hrs time. This stays to the max. until a reset is started on mondaymorning.

A reset of the 30PRT does not work?

What is inline with this a CSU? or line condition of some sort? Does this have alarm data?

?? any DFTD or DFTX info?

What does that mean.

I am the ISDN_30 provider and i'm looking for a possible cause and a solution to cope with.

We haven't even established what model of PABX we are dealing with but DFTD & DFTX are fault reporting commands on the large NEC PABX it is different on the small systems. If you can't interrogate the PABX for the possible cause it will be hard if not impossible to help. Can't you interrogate your equipment to see what it is doing at these times?
