Hi all,
On the Incoming DID call from The PRI..we have to insert a number is it possible?
means the provider will send as the following number 7XXXXXXXXXX...and we have to insert "0" in the begining and the phone display will show 07XXXXXXXXXX...pls any one help me...thanks in advance

Create an IDC table in LD 49: IDGT 7 will be change in 07
In the route configuration, change IDC to YES and DCNO/NCNO egal to the IDC number table

I understand IDC tables to redirect an incoming number to another one; I have not seen it convert the incoming calling line ID information; The original calling line information is retained for the call. For example, if something comes in and I redirect it to a menu in Call Pilot, which then transfers it to your phone, you don't seen the SDN that went to the Call Pilot display on your phone, you see the original calling line ID.

KAAGB, what are you trying to accomplish, there may be a different way around it?

OK so it's not IDC. You want to change display on sets when call is coming from external, i guess.
Print LD 21 FTR and look conf for TBL.
With LD 15 you can change the Incoming CLID with a cross table. Change it as required. Change DAPC to YES in the same block.
In RDB, turn DAPC to YES and give the table number. On set, CLS DAPA (default)

Our Provider will removed the Incoming caller ID first digit 0 and send to us the number was sgowing 7xxxxxxxx
but if we want to call out have to dial 07XXXXXXX. On the display we gave to insert 0 in the begining

Thanks dear Its working...i can insert 0 on the incoming

Thank you very much

dlesap, can i delete n numbers to change display on sets when call is coming from external ?

Can you explain "With LD 15 you can change the Incoming CLID with a cross table. Change it as required. Change DAPC to YES in the same block."

Thank.

lretrievers:
In LD 15 there are CLID arrangement in 2 ways: NET block for outbound calls, and DAPC in FTR block tables for inbound calls but limitated to add prefix to the received call.

ibercom:
I think it's not possible to delete numbers on inbound call. That feature was designed to add the prefix of the incoming route to the displayed number, and to be able to dial the number from call log without any changing. When you PRT the FTR block, at the beginning you will find a table (or many tables) for DAPC feature. Depending the type of call you may receive (National, Unknown, International, Private...) you can choose to add a prefix and apply it to a route. Have a look at that table will give you an idea of what i mean.

dlesap:

In this case, I want to be able to dial the number from call log without any changing, but I need delete n numbers.

Thanks for the answer.
