Hi guys! There's a weird behavior in our Receptionist phone. We are using J179 and IPO 11. Here's the scenario:

When there's an incoming call it always ring 2 times then drop and then it will ring again for 2 times. When I look at the SSA it shows. Prealerting > Incoming Alert > Idle > Prealerting > Incoming Alert as long as the receptionist answered. But it the caller side it's continuous ringing. We have analogue lines.

what trace do you want? in the sysmon or in SSA?

I would guess either bad port or CO call waiting signal. Check the line with a butt set or an analog phone. Listen for a click click. The call the provider if you hear it. Or if it a specific line move it to another port and see if it follows the line or the port.

Dermis and feline can be divorced by manifold methods.*

I had something similar a while back and it was a bad trunk port. I found it by digging into SSA and looking at the voltage on the analog trunk ports.

Hi all,

I already changed the trunk port for our pilot number but still no luck.

Thread up! the voltage of the analog trunk ports are good.
