We are having problems with a 2250 console staying lit up when it gets plugged up. We have done all that we know to do an dare stuck. We have replaced all the cables and tried different phones but with the same result. We have also reset the card with no luck. How do I go into the programming and out the TN so I can try and rebuild the TN.

Thanks,
Tommy

Print the TNs in LD 20.

REQ: PRT
TYPE: 2250
CUST: 0
TN: (hit return until it prints your 2250 TNs)

Then go to LD 12 and OUT those TNs and rebuild them on new TNs.

Are you using the correct power requirements on the console cable?

As far as I know. I am a newbee at this stuff trying to learn as I go. It is gicing me an error sch0130 when trying to out these. Terminal has conflicting station type.

Thanks,
Tommy

You are in LD 12? Performing:

REQ: OUT
TYPE: 2250
TN: ll ss cc uu

Out the 1st TN and it will automatically out the 2nd TN.

I am in LD 12 and it gives that error on either of the tn's.

Thanks,
Tommy

Can you post the printouts of the consoles?

I have figured out how to out the TN but I have now got them to a new TN and still have nothing on the console.

Thanks,
Tommy

You might want to build something temporarily to test one of the consoles close to the PBX, where distance is not an issue. Make sure the problems you are experiencing are pwr/distance related and not a bad console.
Also, how many pwr TN's are you using for your set up? Now you have rebuilt the data TN's are they enabled?

How far is the console from the PBX? If it isn't too far, you don't need power TNs. If I were you I would take a console to the switchroom and hook it up right there. See if it works with just TNs 4-0-4-0 and 4-0-4-1. If it works, then add the power TNs and see if it still works properly. If it does, try extending it back to the operator desk without the power TNs. Basically troubleshoot one step at a time.
