Does anyone know how to install a CAP module onto a M7324 phone? M.Parnell
(norstargirl)

YOU NEED A 24V DC POWER SUPPLY WHICH IS CONNECTED TO THE WH/OR PAIR OF YOUR STATION WIRE.PLUG YOUR LINE CORD INTO THE JACK AND THE OTHER END PLUGS INTO THE CAP UNIT THEN THERE IS A SHORT LINE CORD THAT GOES TO THE 7324 FROM THE CAP. AND IT WORKS

The 24Volt power supply can be fitted at the Box Connection or at the 2/3a line jack unit. If at the line jack unit, it is connected to pins 2&5. Enter the configuration programming then move tom the Miscellaneous section.
Move to the CAP assignment, begin with the CAP assignment in the display, press SHOW, the display shows CAP1: None, or an extn number if assigned. Press Change & enter the extn number to which you are connecting the CAPs unit.
At the extn, the line cord should be connected into the CAPS unit & the link cable between the CAPs unit & the M7324 tele.
At this stage the CAPs unit should initialise, taking up to a minute. If it just flashes, it might need initailised again. To do this, hold down the bottom right & the Bottom left 2 buttons for a few seconds & the CAPs unit should flash & set itself up.
Regards,
Nibor.
